Fabulous Friday: Cute things from Forever 21, etc.

 Someone please inform me why Forever 21 always has the cutest stuff. Today's Fabulous Friday haul comes primarily from Forever 21, with some other adorable things sprinkled in.

I saw this bag right after I quit my job back in October, and I made myself vow not to buy it until I had money. Once I started working two jobs again, it was all that was on my mind and I just had to go get it. I have too many makeup bags as it is, but this one is just so cute! It's also HUGE. You can see how it completely dwarfs the Naked 2 Palette that is peeking out of the top.

Anyone that knows me knows that I have a penchant for unicorns. I saw this at Forever 21 as well and absolutely couldn't resist. It's a ring and jewelry holder that just happens to be shaped like a majestic unicorn. I added a few rings in this picture to show how cute he is when he's doing his job. This will be going up on display on a shelf for sure.

So near me, there is this world/exotic foods supermarket. It's huge, and you can pretty much find any food or strange item you are looking for there. I saw these when I was there last week, and I had to pick them up. The Hello Kitty is self-explanatory, because I have the worst obsession with HK. But the sugar skull one was so pretty, I couldn't help myself. I love Day of the Dead and the culture surrounding it, so I thought this "Refresco de los Muertos" was too cute.

Recently, the store Icing (owned by Claire's!) has seemed to overhaul their makeup. I saw these, and after noticing the similarity to Guerlain Meteorites, I decided to try them. I wanted to try the Meteorites, but I feel weird paying $70 for something I'm not sure I'll like. These were around $10 USD, and are just as pretty, though the packaging is much more utilitarian. I've used them once and haven't noticed any difference in my makeup after brushing them on, but I'm willing to try them a few more times. The one thing that I don't like is the overwhelming baby powder-esque smell that hits me when I open the jar. I will post with updates once I decide how it fares!
